They operate in secret and their anti-democratic strategy is designed to last for generations: Ethnic settlers are firmly rooted in the brown swamp. The families, all of whom live in the countryside, are considered the aristocracy of the extreme right. They have strict values, they intermarry and they keep quiet to the outside world. With child-rearing, folk dancing and the cultivation of customs, the Völkische show the new right-wingers how to be genuinely German. The documentary approaches the phenomenon, describes the historical roots and the reblooming of blood-and-soil ideology in today’s Germany. In this updated version, we also shed light on the personal and ideological connections to the AfD.
